I can't say this is my favorite actress, but she does deserve to be awarded, really! I know it's always difficult to get prepared for such character like Thatcher and her acting in the movie must be brilliant.

I do believe she is the greatest LIVING actress in the world, yes. But of all time? Think of Garbo, Katharine Hepburn, Bette Davis, Vivien Leigh, Ingrid Bergman...She certainly loves to kiss men on the mouth again and again, doesn't she? And for such a seasoned performer she has these silly, akward humorless moments when speaking live, as if she were drunk or jizzed. High time she won a 3rd Academy Award , though.
