Many people in first-world countries have a vitamin D deficiency" That part is true. However, it has nothing to do with sunscreen. It has to do with a human body that was designed to spend a certain amount of time outside, but which, due to the advent of television, video games, and the Internet, often spends 0 time outdoors. (All of which came about in the past 100 years of human history.)

The item about Breathe Right strips isn't true. If you have trouble breathing through your nose, these will help open the airway. Extremely helpful for people who snore or have obstructive sleep apnea. I don't know about "increased oxygen" or whatever bulls**t claim is being disputed in the article, but I wear these about twice a week, before bed, when I feel that my nose is a little congested for whatever reason. The difference is huge.

Now these are insightful analyses, but the article is lacking in references to backup the claims.

The only item in that article of any real interest was the bit about the sunscreen. I generally don't use sunscreen myself, but it was quite interesting to note the proper method of application, as compared to the common misuse of the products (largely due to laziness, when I do happen to use the stuff, I slather it on and forget it for the remainder of the day).
