Drew Barrymore is the latest star to have a ring put on it, getting betrothed to her art consultant beau of nearly one year, Will Kopelman, over the holidays. So, how'd the proposal go down?
Read more…Going The Distance star Drew - who has been married twice before - first stepped out with Will in February last year. The pair apparently dated for a brief spell in 2010, but split before reuniting the following year. Will is the son of former CEO of Chanel, Arie Kopelman.
Back in October, a friend of Drew's told Us Weekly she was 'yearning to get married and have kids,' revealing Kopelman was poised to propose 'around the one-year mark of their dating'. The insider said at the time: 'He's madly in love and knows she's The One.' Former E.T. child star Drew has not had much luck in the marriage stakes thus far.
Good for Drew. At least she isn't having illegitimate babies without fathers to take care of!
Let's be happy and wish her sincerely real happiness. People who wish or hope others' failure are failures themselves. Let's make this world livable by living a "live and let live" lives without ill-wishes for others. Drew, wake up and make this work by trying hard.
I really admire and respect Drew Barrymore for the success she has made of herself after starting out with so many problems. I wish her the best and happiness always.
