Dreams
not really dreams but this'll help sum me up: Los Angeles area Environmental Science and Policy student going to CSULB minoring in biology and geology. vegan. atheist. skeptic. apatheist. relativist. liberal. progressive. green. socialist but pro-small business. Green. National Atheist. anti-homophobe. pro-choice. free speech advocate. would be anarcho but modern society just wouldn't work like that - some government is required - it just ought to be less corrupt than ours. nice guy trying to take a stand. heavy metal fanboy - or rather music in general fanboy. singer and wanna be guitarist and wanna be rockstar. artist/drawer. hiker. biker. runner. swimmer. wanna be basketballer and soccer player. reader. amateur writer (mainly philosophy and poetry). movie follower. basketball, baseball, and football (American) follower. anime fanboy. a friend of mine has made me a Disney fan all over again. me = part nerd, part outdoorsy athlete, part hippy, part metalhead, part straightedge vegan, part grunge, part responsible student, part lover, part fighter (only when it comes to politics), part punk, part radical, part subtle, part bold, part intellectual, part down-to-earth, part idealist, part romantic, part realist, part poet, part artist, part dork, part aspiring musician, part civil libertarian, part introvert/shy, part outgoing. Part adrenaline junkie once I drag myself out of the bed in the morning (gotta love relaxing, too). part type A but it's not hard for me to just chill. It's hard to pin me down. Don't try to change me though I'm open to my mind being changed.
Life goals
I am a student (President's Scholar) at CSULB right now. I will soon be a fourth year and I want to get a degree in Environmental Science and Policy, B.S. and a minor in biology and geology. I am often in class, studying, doing homework, doing stuff for clubs at CSULB, just hanging out with friends, or hanging out with my parents. I also have part time security jobs (SEM and CSC- they're just crowd management but I get to see some celebs for SEM and some games and concerts for CSC) and I will soon start part-time work peer-mentoring and tutoring at the Jensen SAS science center at my school. I'm also looking for internships/volunteering and grad schools that will hopefully lead to a solid career in my field in the future. I am also learning to play guitar.
